December 7, 2011 - As you can see, I've been rather busy with things non-music related, but Christmas is nearly upon us! April 18, 2011 - School has been rather crazy recently, but the semester is getting closer to the end. For a quick run-down of my summer plans check out the calendar on the left. December 9, 2010 - "I'll be home for Christmas.." indeed I will! I'm helping out at my church coffee night here in Singapore this Saturday evening (come if you're able) and then heading to the US for Christmas. Visit: www.noisetrade.com/hiramring August 31, 2010 - Well, a lot has happened in the past few months, including an album of live acoustic versions of 'Breathe Deep' which you can listen to and download by visiting http://hiramring.bandcamp.com - also: I am currently in Singapore at Nanyang Technological University, working on a PhD in Linguistics! I'll be continuing to work on music, though more slowly, and will update this page as things develop. June 5, 2010 - Got back from 25 dates in the southeast US and am working on recording four new projects! I'm playing a few shows in the next couple weekends, looking forward to my birthday on March 17 and then speaking in Georgia, South Carolina and Florida for the whole month of April. The '12 Gates' album is currently being mastered and will be available before I leave - I'll post more info when I know it. February 9, 2010 - Just got back to Lancaster, in time for the snowstorm(s) of the century. Cool stuff! Literally. Working on some recordings - stay tuned for updates. January 12, 2010 - I'm in Dallas, TX studying Language Survey at the Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics. I'll try to keep you updated on things at my blog. =) Happy New year! August 20, 2009 - Life has been pretty crazy. Thanks so much to all the people that welcomed me to their homes and towns - the USA is a big place with lots of beauty and interest, and I was really glad to be able to experience it for the last two months. I am relaxing now and focusing on other endeavors, but will still be performing locally and hope to head out on the road again at the end of August. Keep up-to-date by visiting my blog! July 20, 2008 - I'm safely back in Lancaster after a wonderful 3 months in Norway, working on finishing my album and reconnecting with people in the area. Come out to Purple Door Music and Arts Festival on August 15-16th if you can - I will be playing on the sidestage Saturday morning at 10:30am! May 1, 2008 - I'm now in Norway! October 5, 2007 - I'm back from Spain! I had a great time in Granada with my friends Andrew and Jamie Leonhard. I really enjoyed the culture and meeting new people and getting to practice Spanish. I would really like to go back, so we'll see what happens over the next year or so. But for now, the Apple Festival is Tomorrow!
